Along with our RAC Direct Insurance you can also have the peace of mind from our comprehensive breakdown recovery service.

Our recovery service gives you real peace of mind. If it's 3am, pouring with rain, your vehicle has broken down and you're miles away from home, all you want is help as quickly as possible.

We have a wide range of cover options to suit your circumstances:

• Vehicle based
  Our standard service; your chosen vehicle is covered regardless of who is driving.
• Personal
  This extends your service so you'll be covered in any vehicle and it doesn't matter whether you're the driver or the passenger.
• Joint Personal
  This is a further extension of personal cover which enables another member of your household to enjoy exactly the same level of personal cover as you.

Each cover level includes the following:

• Roadside assistance
• Tow to a nearby garage for you, your vehicle and up to 7 passengers
  Recovery to any UK destination for you, your vehicle and up to 7 passengers
• Recovery of your van and passengers if the driver is medically unfit to drive
• Assistance at or within a quarter mile of your home address.
